Please note, bookings are not confirmed until a booking form and deposit have been received.
Health
Only healthy pets are accepted to board, we reserve the right to turn away a pet that is showing signs of any undisclosed illness or injury. Pre-existing medical conditions must be discussed upon booking. Please complete the booking form with details of the condition and any treatment / medication required.
We put your pet's health and wellbeing first and foremost. If your pet should become sick, we will inform you immediately. If veterinary intervention is required, we will transport your pet to the local vet (we will endeavor to use your registered vets if local).
All costs will be in the owner's name and address, and will be the responsibility of the owner.
Sadly, small animals can become sick and deteriorate very quickly, in the unlikely event that your pet does pass away in our care, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes.
The Small Pet Inn can accept no liability in the event of your pets passing away whilst in our care.
Vaccinations
Rabbits must be vaccinated against myxomatosis, RVHD1&2. We require you to bring a current vaccination certificate upon arrival if it has not been provided within this booking form. Pets without proof of vaccinations will regrettably be refused, for the safety of your own rabbit, and other guests.
Booking & Payment
All provisional bookings for boarding will be held for 7 days, to secure your booking we require a completed booking form and a deposit of £20.00.
If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation, this deposit is non-refundable.
Payment must be made in full, on or before arrival, by cash or bank transfer.
The daily rate includes the day you drop your pet off to us, and the day they depart.
If you collect your pet earlier than the agreed collection date, you are still liable for the full amount of your pets stay.
Arrival & Departure
Drop off and collection times are pre-arranged by appointment only.
We may have multiple visitors on any one day, and it is important that agreed times are adhered to.
We allow 15 minute slots per client to ensure that there are no delays and that pets are not kept in carriers for any longer than necessary.
You will receive a reminder notification of the agreed time-slot the day before arrival.
If you are held up at no fault of your own (flight delays for example), please stay in touch before your appointment slot and we will try and accommodate.
If you are late to your appointment slot, you may be turned away and asked to return at a later time due to us holding other commitments and other appointment time-slots scheduled, or a quicker on the door drop off will be provided without the usual time allowance.
If you miss your appointment slot with no prior warning provided to us, we will have to reschedule and this time loss could result in a small fee being applied to your booking at our discretion, for additional time being required to accommodate the booking.
Cancellations
Cancellations within 72 hours of check-in date will incur full boarding costs.
Non-collection
If you do not collect your pet on the agreed date, without prior arrangement, you will be charged for any extra days at £20.00 per day.
If pet(s) are not collected within 10 days of the agreed date, and we have not heard from you, we reserve the right to have your pet re-homed.
Please note
Small animal boarding does not require a license or have the same rules and regulations as dog or cat boarding. Therefore, all animals are left with The Small Pet Inn at their owner's risk.
We do not accept liability for accident, injury, illness, theft and death.
